The fastener has a case which encloses a plate (1) with two recesses (6) that hold the fixing studs (7) joined to the ends of the jewelry. A push button (2) is joined to a rod (3) that is held in a recess (4) in the plate. The rod pivots round the axis of the plate and when the button is pressed, against a spring (9), it allows the side of the case to rotate to allow the studs to pass through holes in it. A collar on the rod rests against stops (5) when the button is in its outer position.
