Management of energy produced by high power alternator on motor vehicle

The electrical system management has separate supply to the high power consumption components and the low power consumption components. The battery is supplied in the same circuit as the low power consumption components. A controller (2) delivers current to both the high and low power circuits. The controller delivers a potential U1 to the low power consumption circuit and a potential U2 to the high power circuit. The latter potential (U2) is greater than the low power potential. A filter (6) ensures the low power supply potential is stable regardless of fluctuations in the potential in the high power circuit.
