Anti-vandal door-post for telecommunications or security cabling

The door-post (11) has a hollow section (11') and space (12) on the street side for mounting numerous communication and security devices. A solid doorpost (20) with rabbet for door (22) to fit into is screwed to the technical doorpost. Working access to the equipment inside the technical doorpost is obtained via a shutter (13) which has invisible and inaccessible hinges (14). The shutter is locked by a spring loaded hook (17) mounted on a screw (18). The hook engages with a V profile rim welded inside the shutter which may only be unlocked by entering a screwdriver or similar tool through a hole (21) in the rabbet.
