The rack has a horizontal support (3) and parallel horizontal rails (4) are fixed perpendicularly to this. There are vertical slots (5) between them and the skis are inserted in them. The distance between the rails is greater than the thickness of a ski but less than the thickness of the ski and its bindings. The open ends of the slots are closed by vertical plates that pivot round vertical axles on the rails. Each plate is locked by a catch locking into a hollow in the adjacent rail.
