PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable disposable diaper which fits well, is less stimulative for skin, and can be produced/formed easily. SOLUTION: This disposable diaper 1 has a liquid permeable surface sheet 2, a liquid impermeable rear sheet 3, and a liquid retaining absorbent 4 inserted between the sheets 2 and 3. A front side part A which comes to the front of a user when the user uses the diaper and a back side part B which comes to the back of the user are formed, and waist band parts 10, 10 are connected to right/left sides of the back side part B. The waist band parts 10, 10 are made of a laminated sheet C with an expansible or extendable nonwoven fabric 12 and a sheet material 13 made of ethylene-α-olefin copolymer whose permanent deformation is not exceeding 50% and the hysteresis ratio is not exceeding 5.0.
