PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baby holder which is put on a person to hold a baby and used for holding a baby and is so improved as not to the even cause the wearing person uneasy even when he/she does not hold a baby. SOLUTION: A sitting plane forming member 8 for holding the hips of baby is turnably linked to the lower end edge of a waist belt 3 to be mounted around the waist of wearing person. Two shoulder belts 12 and 13 are pulled out of the front end side of the sitting plane forming member 8 and inked through the respective shoulders of wearing person to the waist belt 3 on the back side of wearing person. When holding the baby, the hips of bay are placed on the sitting plane forming member 8 expanded from the lower belly of wearing person and the shoulder belts 12 and 13 are arranged along the back of baby. Even when not holding the baby, however, the sitting plane forming member 8 is positioned along the waist belt 3, the effective length of the shoulder belts 12 and 13 is comparatively shortened, and the holder is still worn like suspender.
