摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adaptively execute the different function of a feed flow rate control function or an exhaust flow rate control function in response to the detected dynamic state of an artificial respiration instrument without according to the measured parameter of patient through a control system of the single valve controlled artificial respiration instrument for medical treatment. SOLUTION: This control system determines the operating mode of an artificial respiration instrument 8 so that either a feed flow rate control system or an exhaust flow rate control system can be selected. This determination is performed by using the detected artificial respiration instrument operation parameter such as the ratio of manihold pressure to flow rate so that the suitable control function can be selected. A hysteresis routine is provided in order to prevent 'too much sensitive reaction' between the feed flow rate control system and the exhaust flow rate control system.
