Threaded spindle drive for transport device

The drive (10) has a threaded spindle (12) and associated support nut (14) and security nut (18) connected to it by a connector. The connector is formed as a thin-walled web (20) which is held rotationally secured on the support and security nuts and encloses the threaded spindle circumferentially at least in part. The web can be connected integral to the support and-or security nut. The web has level with the support and-or security nut a collar for holding a fixing member which transfers torque. The web has between the nuts a section running inclined to the longitudinal axis of the spindle. With axial load on the web and failure of the support nut the web deforms so that the support nut slides towards the security nut to operate a safety switch.
