Stamp rivet setter to connect workpieces

The setter consists of two parts movable towards each other to clamp the workpieces (1,2) to be connected. A first part is formed by a stamp rivet head (6) for use on one tool (24) of several press tools (22,23,24). The second part is a die (7) for use on one of the other opposed tools, or is part of one tool (22). The movement of the press-in stamp of the stamp rivet head is caused by the movement between the tool carrying the head, and the action of a tool (23) moving relative to it, while the press (17) exposes opening and closing movements.
