The present invention provides a method of and apparatus for heating an article by using magnetic induction heating and/or resistive heating. The method/apparatus allow for heating of articles having a matrix of fibres and resin and the article is formed by curing the resin through the magnetic induction heating and/or resistive heating. The articles include an electrically conductive constituent which is heated by magnetic induction heating. The electrically conductive constituent includes carbon fibres. The natural conductivity of the fibres themselves will preferably be used as the medium for generation of the induction heating currents.
