USE OF ACRYLIC COPOLYMERS IN COSMETICS AND COMPOSITIONS USED

The invention discloses the use in and for the preparation of cosmetic and dermatological compositions of one copolymer obtainable by the copolymerisation of a mixture of monomers comprising: (a)5 to 25 wt.% of at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer (A) comprising at least one carboxylic acid function; (b) 3 to 30 wt.% of at least one monomer (B) of formula (I): H2C=C(R1)-COOR2 in which R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl radical; R2 represents a linear or branched or cyclic, saturated or unsaturated or aromatic alkyl radical, having 8 to 40 carbon atoms; (c) of at least one monomer (C) selected from the group constituted by tertio-butyl methacrylate, tertio-butyl acrylate and their mixtures, in a proportion higher than 50 %, such that the polymer glass transition temperature (Tg) is at least 15 DEG C, the weight percentages being computed with respect to the total amount of monomer used. The invention also concerns the cosmetic and dermatological compositions used.
