System for installing sealed moulded cabling in automobile door

A system for installing cabling (7) in a car door (11) has the following features. The door has an inner wall (1) with cladding (2) and a protective device (3) between them. The cabling (7) goes through this layer and has a plug connection (8) at one end of it. The protective device can slide on the door cladding using a guide (4) at the other end of the device from the plug connection. On the chassis end of the guide is an opening (9) to accommodate the protective device when this is slid back by the shutting of the door. The opening is on the same side of the cladding as the guide.
