A system for installing a cabling (8) in a car door (5) has the following features. On the chassis side, another cabling trunk (3) has a plug connector (4) pivoted to the chassis. On the door side, the first cabling trunk also has a plug connector (10) which mates with the other one. There is a protective device (9) through which the first cabling trunk runs and its plug connector is at one end of the protective device. The other end of the protective device can slide in the door. The first plug connector is mounted on the inner wall carrying the door, at a point between the sealing strips (11,12) on the door and door frame.
