An electrical machine having a tubular cooling hose (4) encapsulated in the stator housing (1) wall, the latter being made of aluminium or an aluminium alloy, while the tubular cooling hose (4) consists of aluminium or an aluminium alloy, or of copper or a copper alloy. The tubular cooling hose is specifically arranged in the corner zones (3) of the stator housing (1) and extends in the latter's longitudinal direction and the hose connection is provided from one corner zone to the other corner zone, axially in front of stator laminated core lying in the housing wall.
