X=ray diagnostic device for peripheral subtraction angiography

The X-ray diagnostic device for DSA has an X-ray unit (2-6) to generate video signals representing X-ray images. The device also includes a patient table (7) on which the person (8) under examination is laid. The X-ray unit and the table (7) are held to be adjustable relative to each other by means of a drive device. The diagnostic device has an image processor with an image memory. It also has a subtraction device to form the difference between stored video signals from mask images without contrast means and video signals from filling images with contrast means. Recognisable markings (11-14) set with respect to the person under examination in the X-ray image. The image processor has a detector which recognises the markings in the video signal of the X-ray image and moves the image such that the markings are covered. The markings may be provided on or inside the patient table or on a separate carrier.
