Mobile pipe line manufacturing process

The involves placing two end plates of a coil of similar dimensions above each other, connected elastically and pressure-tight, and formed by application of pressure or a bending process. The pipes are then laid, and the laying process can take place before or after the pressure application. The fabrication process is continuous, or in stages. The end plates may be flat or preformed, and do not need to be of the same material or thickness. The end plates may be connected by conventional methods, or by application of a partial/complete coating e.g. fibre-reinforced polymer film, which acts as anti- corrosion protection.
