Pyrolysis reactor, especially for conversion of waste fat, has a stationary catalyst bed that is charged with the waste fat. The reactor is divided into various zones (1, 2, 3) with separate regulated heating, and at least one zone contains feed and delivery elements for controlled transfer of the charge to another zone. A zeolite is used as catalyst.
