Short message service between mobile terminal and central computer

The service is operated from a centre where the computer stores prepared text templates for composition of so-called short messages. The templates are transmitted by this service e.g. when the mobile terminal is first booked into the radio network. The terminal may provide a user guide ensuring that the text templates are not overwritten. At the service centre they are easily altered and adapted to specific mobile users, who can select them by transmission of special codes.
