Stimulation probe for transoesophageal heart ante chamber stimulation

The stimulation probe is provided with an inflatable, anatomical oval shaped oesophagus balloon (1) at its tip, which ensures a direct and a stable wall contact in the oesophagus at the height of the left ante-chamber of the heart. The distance of the electrodes (2) of between two and four cm is provided for the selective electro-stimulation of the left antechamber of the heart or the recording of ECG signals. An oral fixation plate to be fixed at the probe, which after the positioning of the probe, prevents a positional alteration in the stomach direction through oesophagus.
