<p>The invention discloses a programmable wireless remote control device equipped with an internal clock. It consists of a portable wireless remote control housing (1) provided with an infrared, ultrasonic or radio transmitter (3), and with means enabling a temporary linkage with a computer (6) comprising software for programming the remote control, the latter containing a battery power supply, the circuits (2) for managing the keyboard, the transmitter and an optional display screen (7), a microprocessor, a real time calendar clock, a read-write memory receiving the modifiable programming data and a read only memory. The device is useful for controlling electronic equipment such as television sets or access control and flexitime management systems, and is particularly useful for television rental agencies.</p> |
