<p>A photoaging inhibitor that is highly safe and excellent in the photoaging inhibitory effect and comprises a triterpenoid derivative and one or more salts thereof, the derivative being ursolic, oleanolic or betulic acid wherein the hydrogen atom of the carboxyl group at the 28-position and/or the hydrogen atom of the hydroxyl group bonded to the carbon atom at the 3-position have (has) been substituted by functional groups, at least one of them having an aromatic ring; and a skin-care preparation that is excellent in the beautifying effect of inhibiting or ameliorating wrinkled skins and comprises a triterpenoid derivative and one or more salts thereof in a proportion of preferably 0.0001 to 10 wt.%, the derivative being ursolic, oleanolic or betulic acid wherein the hydrogen atom of the carboxyl group at the 28-position and/or the hydrogen atom of the hydroxyl group bonded to the carbon atom at the 3-position have (has) been substituted by functional groups, at least one of them having an aromatic ring.</p> |
