The pram or pushchair has a chassis (12) with a pair of wheels on both sides. The wheels have mudguards (14), and these may be placed under the wheels to serve as sledge runners. Each mudguard sits on a chassis-fastened wheel axle. They may pivot about that axle, to lock in either position on axle or chassis.
