摘要

To compensate for the development of friction heat at the needle bars, in a knitter, at least one air stream carries off any heat below the knocking-over plane (37) at the movement zone of the needle pushers (2). Also claimed is an apparatus with jets (330, 230, 38, 130) in the angle between the knocking-over plane (37) and the needle bars (10), to deliver air streams at the breast side of the needle shafts (1).
