The device comprises a spring arrangement. The disc brake (1) permits the radial application of the floating calliper (3) permanently to the automobile. The brake anchor plate (2) is arranged in the spring arrangement housing (13). There are axially arranged shoulders (16,17) to facilitate the mounting of the spring arrangement in a permanent manner to the grip (8). The floating calliper can therefore be mounted in the spring arrangement housing.
