Shield for protecting military targets

The shield has interceptor explosive charges (6,7,8) and an electromagnetic barrier. The barrier is formed of two blocking surfaces (2a,2b) erected at some distance from the target being shielded. When a weapon penetrates the barrier zone, the charges are set-off separately or in groups for that particular penetration area. The surfaces are separated by an intermediate zone (3) and, like the direction of action of the charges, run across the supposed main direction of attack. The charges sit in the space in between the two blocking surfaces.
