摘要 The arrangement detects, corrects, and decodes data signals (115) read from a magnetic storage medium (114d), and includes a receiver for the data signal originating from the magnetic storage medium, which produces a data signal (117). The data signal created represents a first number of sequentially organised, coded data stored in the storage medium. The data signal (117) contains the coding, the sequential symbol order, together with several non-linearities which correspond to an origin of the data signal from the storage medium. A neural network processor (130, 132) is coupled with the receiver, for receiving the data signal and determining the symbol order, correction and decoding of the data signal, and for providing a recovered signal. The recovered signal represents a second number of data which corresponds to the first number of data with the ascertained symbol order, and decoded and corrected non-linearities.
