The pump is used for supplying fluid or pasty materials, especially cosmetics or edible materials. The pump has an outer casing with inlet and outlet connections at right angles to each other and spaced approximately 90 degrees apart on the rotor. The rotor has a corrugated pumping surface firmly fastened to the rotor shaft and operating in a pumping chamber. There is a reciprocating sealing device between the inlet and the outlet. The crests of the corrugated pumping surface may touch the flat front and rear surfaces of the pumping chamber.
