The closure arrangement consists basically of a container (1) with a mouth (10), a closure (2) to seal the mouth (10) and a safety fixture (3) located between the closure (2) and the mouth (10). The safety fixture (3) has a body (4) approximately annular in form with a safety strip (6) connected to the fixture body (4) at predetermined breaking points. When fitted, the safety fixture body (4) engages with the mouth (10) and the safety strip (6) engages with the closure (2). Opening the container closure (2) produces relative movement between the safety strip (6) and the fixture body (4), fracturing the breaking points. Fracture of the breaking points (5) shows that the container closure (2) has previously been opened. |
