Carriage for magnetic polisher

The carriage has a high power permanent magnet used to remove loose particles and excrescences from steel surfaces. The magnetic block (1) has four wheels (3) which are attached by M8 bolts (5) which screw into tapped holes (10) in the block. The block (1) is attached to a control mechanism by vertical studs (2) which screw into tapped M16 holes (9) on the top of the block, and by collars (7) rods (8) and wing nuts (6). The wheels maintain a gap of about 2 mm between the block and the surface being treated.
