The safety circuit has a switching device, operated by control signals provided when required safety criteria are fulfilled, for switching the current for the electrically-operated device. The switching device is provided by at least one pair of series power semiconductors (Q1,Q4), each receiving the control signals via a galvanic separation path, with the switch condition of each power semiconductor detected via a parallel semiconductor (OT1,OT4), coupled to an evaluation stage via a further galvanic separation path. |
