The invention concerns a piece of seating furniture which can be converted into a bed and whose back (10) can be pivoted by means of arms (9) into the plane of the seat, the arms (9) being hinged at one end to the seat frame (6) and at the other end to the back (10). A covering (21) can be drawn automatically over the top surface of the bed by an automatic roller (20) when the piece of furniture is converted into a bed. In order to ensure a simple, reliable mechanism, the roller (20) is mounted along the rear of the underside of the seat frame (6). |
