This invention is a conveying device for stone dust, produced in the operation of hand-held combustion motor driven rock drilling machines, so that the operator would be protected from inhaling the stone dust. The device may be in the form of either a diverter (figure 1), utilizing the ordinary flushing air of the machine, or be supplied in the form of a special suction device (figures 2, 3 and 4), driven by the combustion motor exhaust gases. This special device would, besides protecting the operator from the risk of contracting silicoses due to dust exposure, also safeguard him against the perils of poisonous exhaust gases, harmful exhaust noise and fire hazard. |
