<p>A livestock manger barrier consists of a tubular structure with parallel lengthwise (3a) and transverse (4a) members, a curved bar (5), a control bar (13) and a moving bar (10) with a locking stirrup (11). The control bar incorporates a system (16a. 16b, 19, 26, 27) comprising projections (19, 16a, 16b) on the control bar which allow it to be set in three different angular positions, in each of which the moving bar (10) can be locked in its closed position or pass freely from one position to another. The moving bar (10) has a locking mechanism for curved bars which allow the animals to insert their heads or prevent them from doing so.</p> |
