A kitchen machine has a horizontal vessel whose front wall is provided with an outlet, and a first tool (13) driven by and secured to a rotary shaft (14). The tool (13) can be moved over the whole length of the work vessel (10) by means of an advance unit which acts upon the shaft tube (15). In particular in order to enable the work vessel (10) to be emptied without having to replace the tool, a second tool (12) is movably arranged in the work vessel and the first tool may be moved relative to the second tool and sunk into a corresponding recess of the second tool. |
