<p>The security device can be applied to the rear swing doors of containers and lorries. Rod-like bolts (3,4) are fixed to the doors by guides (5) and fastening blocks (6,7). A security bar (9) runs perpendicular to the bolts, and is mechanically fastened to the blocks. The bar can be removed in normal circumstances only after a lock mechanism in the blocks has been opened. The bar can also be slid parallel to the surface of a door, so as to engage in a slot in the locking block (7), and can be secured in this position by a pressurised-cylinder operated locking bolt, which can engage in a hole in the bar. <IMAGE></p> |
