Liquid compositions are described which are acidic and which comprise an alkyl hydroperoxide or an organomineral hydroperoxide. The compositions do not cause skin itching, unlike conventional peroxygen, and are useful for bleaching fabrics, carpets, toilets, dentures, teeth and hair. |
