PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution and manufacturing method used to manufacture magnetic fluid chemically stable and formed by super corpuscle magnetic colloid covered by surfactant. SOLUTION: An additive surface improving chemical is used to completely cover the freely oxidizable surface of the particle surface layer to secure better chemical stability of magnetic fluid under various environment conditions. This additives is a surface improving chemicals expressed by a formula, R<1> nSiR<2> 4-n , and its concentration is less than 25vol.%. The part R<1> means hydrolyzable base selected from the group consisting of alkoxyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, R<2> means alkyl base having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, and n is usually 1, 2, or 3. |
