PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a laminated-type impedance device to be increased in resistance but lessened in reactance by a method wherein magnetic material used for the impedance device is allowed to contain soft magnetic ferrite having composition represented by a general formula as main component. SOLUTION: Magnetic material used for an impedance device is composed of material represented by a general formula, a(Ni(1-x) .Cux )O.bZnO.cFe2 O3 (wherein a+b+c=100, 0.1<=X<=0.6, 27<=b<=35, 47<=c<=49.5), as a main component, and 0 to 2wt.% of Bi2 O3 , PbO and V2 O5 and 0 to 1wt.% of SiO2 are added to the main component, or 0 to 2wt.% of one or more elements selected out of Bi2 O3 , PbO, V2 O5 , and SiO2 are added. By this constitution, the magnetic material can be enhanced in resistance R and lessened in reactance X in an operating frequency range (above 20 to 30MHz), and an impedance device formed of the above material is capable of markedly lessening signal waves in distortion and phase lag. |
