PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve convenient carrying, the enhancement of the utilization efficiency of a battery and operability at the same time by making it a rotatable GPS antenna, so that the plane of the GPS antenna attached to an instruction part forms a free angle, with respect to a display part. SOLUTION: A GPS antenna 1 is attached at the upper side of a display part 2, through a supporting part 3 provided in the main body. It is preferable that the GPS antenna 1 be provided vertically toward the sky, since the antenna has directivity. Since the device can be turned with the supporting part 3 as the supporting point, the device can be directed to the direction, where the best reception is possible, regardless of the slant angle of the display part. Furthermore, two screens 2a and 2b can be displayed on the display part 2. By appropriately using the screens selectively, the total positions on the map and detailed town information can be found at the same time. Operating switches 4 are arranged on the device, and the retrieving screen can be switched instantly. Thus, the long life for the battery can be achieved. |
