SOLUTION: The key telephone system is made up of a master set 1, key telephone sets 21 , 22 ,...2n connecting to the master set 1, lines 31 , 32 ,...3n connecting to the master set 1 and peripheral equipments 41 , 42 connecting similarly to the master set 1, the master set 1 has a memory circuit 51 storing a control program, a total number of the key telephone set 2 (general term of the key telephone sets 21 , 22 ,...2n ) and number of key telephone sets in use at present based on permissible power consumption, a control circuit 5 operated by the control program in the memory circuit 51, a key telephone set I/F circuit 6 intervening data sent/received between the key telephone sets 21 , 22 ,...2n and the control circuit 5 and supplying power to the key telephone sets 21 , 22 ,...2n , a line I/F circuit 7 interfacing the lines 31 , 32 , ...3n and a peripheral equipment I/F circuit 8 interfacing the peripheral equipments 41 , 42 . |
