PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform exact pitch adjustment and alignment by making the detected light beam coincident with the order of the light beam. SOLUTION: A light source unit 4 generates plural numbers of light beams time-sequentially based on a modulation signal for recording and plural modulation signals for synchronizing detection for the respective beams. A photosensor 7 detects each light beam generated by the light source unit 4 on the non-write position on the starting side of scanning. A synchronizing signal generating part 8 generates synchronizing signals for the respective light beams based on modulation signals for synchronizing detection for the respective beams and the detecting signals of the respective beams outputted from the photosensor 7. A light sensor outputting time measuring device 10 detects the outputting time of each light beam based on the light detecting signal outputted from the photosensor and the pitch between the respective light beams based on the detected outputting time. |
