PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the image forming device in which a load in the operation is considerably relieved with a simple configuration and a fault location is surely detected in the unit of printed circuit boards. SOLUTION: In the fault detection mode of the image forming device, integration processing data of an integration register at an input and output sides of each image processing unit when a reference image processing unit conducting a normal operation is mounted to each image processing unit of an image processing section 2, and integration processing data of an integration register at an input and output sides of each image processing unit when a measured image processing unit is mounted to each image processing unit are arranged in a prescribed format corresponding to types of color and image processing and printed check data paper is generated simultaneously and the corresponding integration processing data are compared. Thus, which printed circuit board corresponding to a correction unit 2a, a color correction unit 2b, an edit unit 2c, a filter gradation processing unit 2d and a printer gamma correction unit 2e is faulty is quickly and surely discriminated. |
