PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the restarting method of a CPU substrate, which prevents a system malfunction accompanied by the non-matching of information between an initialized state when the CPU substrate is restarted in a monitor control system into/from which a live-line can be inserted/extracted in a former way and the actual operation state of respective monitor control objects. SOLUTION: The respective monitor control objects 6, 6... are provided with monitor control information preservation memories 7, 7... for updating and preserving monitor control information in real time. The CPU substrate 2 of a monitor controller is provided with a reset switch 4 and a protection switch 3 interlocking with the insertion/extraction injector of the substrate. When the insertion/extraction injector operates, the writing into the monitor control information preservation memories 7, 7... is inhibited and monitor control information is preserved. The CPU substrate 2 obtains monitor control information from the monitor control information preservation memories 7, 7... and restarts the CPU substrate with obtained data as an initial value and restarts the monitor control system without causing non-matching between the actual operation state of the monitor control objects and the monitor control state. |
