<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endless belt for an image forming apparatus for obtaining an image of a high image quality with a small step at a connecting part. SOLUTION: A connecting part obtained by superposing both ends of a thermosetting resin sheet such as a polymide resin in which a conductive agent is dispersed is provided. A groove-like uneven part is engraved at both ends of the sheet in its thickness direction and an uneven part formed at one end is adhered to an uneven part formed at the other end. A thickness (t) of the sheet is 50 to 100μm, a depth (d) of a recess is 26 to 90μm, and widths w1 , w2 are in a range of 10μm to 30mm. The recess is preferably engaged with the protrusion. As an adhesive for bonding the recess to the protrusion, a one- pack elastic adhesive, a two-pack elastic adhesive or a sheet-like hot-melt adhesive is used.</p> |
