PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the response speed and to reduce the load of a network by correcting a file access request so as to directly respond to a terminal equipment having an access request from a server that is specified by a request analysis part. SOLUTION: The file access request from a client computer 109a is received at a receiving part 107, and a virtual file identifier included in the access request is checked by a request analysis part 106. Then the name of the corresponding server computer 101a or 101b is specified via a management table 103. A correction request processing part 110 corrects the file access request into the one that can be responded to the computer 109a via the computer 101a or 101b based on the data on the table 103. The corrected file access request is sent to the computer 101a or 101b via a sending part 108. A request processing part 105 of the computer 101a or 101b produces the response data against the file access request and sends the data to the computer 109a.
