PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper cushion material which can be broadly used and which fits well to a packaging material, by swisting a little one or more belt- form paper flaps and forming twisted strings having coarse spaces respective twisted materials and forming a net by knitting the twisted strings in the cross- knitting and forming a number of apertures among the crossed strings. SOLUTION: Light twist as much as 2-10 times at every length of 300mm and compression are given to a belt-form paper flap 1, to make a twisted string 2 having supperposed layers of coarse spaces 2' between the twisted materials. Then, the twisted strings are knit so as to cross with each other and form a netted sheet 4. A number of apertures 3 having 5-100mm sides are formed among the crossed strings. This twisted strings 2 have such a structure that the strings are twisted while giving a centripetal compression to the belt-form paper flaps 1 and a multi-layer body having a complicated superposition in the inside. In this way, this material is excellent in shock-resistant strength and cushioning effect and further, it is fit well to packing materials, and hence, it can be applicable for various articles to be protected against shocks. |
