PACKAGED FEED AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve bite of a feed having large water content and improve keeping quality. SOLUTION: This feed is obtained by subjecting a feed having water content controlled to 15-20wt.% to treatment for suppressing propagation of bacteria and hermetically sealing the feed together with a deoxidant. This method for producing a packaged feed comprises adding an adequate amount of water to a feed raw material, stirring the feed raw material, adding an acid to the mixture, controlling the liquid to pH4.5 to 5.5 and forming the mixture and drying the formed material at a low temperature until the water content becomes 15-20wt.%, dividing the formed material every a prescribed amount and hermetically sealing the divided formed material together with the deoxidant.
