PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the resonance frequency of a centrifugal pump to a lower value for reducing the noise offensive to the ear by arranging a specific number of blades out of the blades of the total number of (n) in an impeller of the centrifugal pump at equal angular intervals, and also by arranging the other blades at angles displaced by a prescribed angle from the equal angular intervals. SOLUTION: By turning the impeller 118 by a motor at high speed, water is sucked in from a water-feeding port that has been provided at the upper part of a pump part 14, and the water is discharged from the discharge port that has been provided to the upper part of the pump part 14. In the centrifugal pump like this, the impeller 118 is made up by arranging six blades 126a to 126f to the disk-shaped impeller body 124. Three blades 126a, 126c, and 126e out of the six blades 126a to 126f are arranged at equal intervals of 60deg., while the other three blades 126b, 126d, and 126f are arranged so as to be displaced by a degreeθfrom the angle 60deg. Thus, the resonance frequency of the centrifugal pump 10 is restrained to a lower value, so that the reduction in noise can be achieved.
