PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a printer not generating the clogging with ink and having a high processing speed by allowing the part heated by a heating means of a film to permeate through the ink held to an ink holder and transferring the ink permeated through the film to recording paper by a transfer means. SOLUTION: When a film 2 is heated by the resistance heating element 7a of a thermal head 7, an open pore C is formed to the heated part of the film and ink enters the open pore C from an ink holder 3 by a capillary phenomenon. As the forming part of the open pore C approaches the normal temp. by the rotation of an ink roller 10, the open pore disappears gradually and, when the open pore disappears, a part of the ink entering the open pore is left on the surface of the film 2 in a stain like state to form an ink spot S. This ink spot S is pressed between the film 2 and a platen roller 8 to be transferred to recording paper P. By this constitution, the transfer of ink is performed and an image is formed on the recording paper P. |
