PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a part mounting method and a device, wherein a part mounting cycle can be shortened, and a manufacturing cost can be lessened. SOLUTION: An image sensing device 4 which takes up the picture image of a target suction part is mounted on a suction head 2 equipped with a suction nozzle 10 which sucks an electronic part 11. The suction nozzle 10 is moved by pinion rack mechanisms 6 and 8a in a vertical direction to suck the electronic part 11. The suction nozzle 10 is rotated around a rotating shaft 10b by a motor 12, and the rotating shaft 10b and a part suction part 10a are offset. When the suction nozzle 10 is moved up after it sucks a part, it is rotated around the shaft 10b as a center, the part suction part 10a is moved onto the optical axis of the image sensing device 4, so that a mechanism which moves the image sensing device 4 for picking up the image or the suction head to an image sensing point can be dispensed with. An image sensing device is mounted on a suction head for picking up the image of a part, so that the suction head is not required to be moved to an image sensing position, and a part mounting device of this constitution can be enhanced in tact as a whole. |
